After exhausting the route from Coogee to Bondi we decided to head in the other direction to see where the coast would take us.

Not long in to the walk I discovered this street which quickly became my favourite street name in the whole of Sydney. (Dolphin Street is a strong 2nd place)

After going the wrong way a few times we eventually made it down some steps on to a rocky bay, with the tide coming in and the route around it getting narrow we quickly hopped around the bay and safely up the other end, with me only slipping on the rocks a couple of times.

We finished the 4km walk, complete with a few whale sightings and were welcomed to Maroubra with this view of the beach.

Although the sea was too rough for swimming we sat on the beach, watching the impressive surfers before exploring the Main Street of  Maroubra.
