During the school holidays we decided to take the kids to a waterfall about an hour outside of Brisbane.

We left pretty early and got to the car park in good time, from there it was just a short descent to get to the base of the fall. At first the kids were a bit weary to go in the cold, rocky water but after a bit of encouragement and help we all had a dip and swim under the cascading water.

I had my go pro with me so we did some filming and splashed around for a while before deciding to go for another little walk around the surrounding rainforest.

After a fair bit of walking and swimming the kids were getting tired and hungry so it was time to head into the nearby town of Buderim for a late lunch before going back to Brisbane to tell their parents about the first waterfall they had ever been to!
